I take a holistic approach to health, recognizing that all aspects of your life are interconnected. Does workplace or relationship stress lead to overeating? Does delaying your salah affect your emotional well-being? Does lack of sleep or low energy keep you from exercising? Together, we will explore how these factors influence your overall health.
My goal is to help you develop a deep understanding of your body’s needs, knowing that life is ever-changing. I want to empower you with the self-awareness and knowledge to make the best choices for yourself in any situation, guided by both Islamic principles and sound nutrition.
Let’s define what well-being means to you as a Muslim and use that vision to inspire meaningful goals. As your health coach, I won’t prescribe a rigid diet but will help you understand how different foods impact your body and how to make informed choices. We’ll work together to set achievable health and Islamic goals with clear, actionable steps, bringing you closer to optimal well-being, in both body and faith.

It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat that affects our health, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity, and an Islamic awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When the 12 primary foods (pictured above) are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. I will support you in achieving all of your goals, from eating the right foods for your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.
The Integrative Shifa Plate emphasizes the importance of local and organic produce, wholesome foods, high-quality proteins, plant-based fats, and water. It informs you how a plate should appear at mealtime and emphasizes the importance of personalized proportions and portion size. To complete the plate, the plate takes into consideration lifestyle factors that create optimal health such as relationships, career, physical activity and Islam. I’ll introduce you to some of the healthiest halal foods on the planet and teach you how to find what’s healthiest for your unique body!
Many health experts give their clients a list of foods to avoid and a list of foods to eat, which explains why so many people are turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating and drinking foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will crowd out the unhealthy food in your diet. This takes a little practice to make happen, but I will support you along the way.
The concept of Bio-individuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and Islamic lifestyle needs. One person’s nourishment can be another person’s indulgence, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique needs, Islamic lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background.
As your health coach, I will not dictate a diet for you, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we’ll co-create your health and Islamic goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working toward.
